Malden Electronics, a UK company founded in 1976, has designed and  manufactured speech measuring instruments since 1984. The company focuses on the research and development of techniques for Speech Transmission Performance measurement, utilising a number of different metrics including ITU-T Rec. P.862 PESQ and now P.863 POLQA. Our reference speech quality measurement systems define and confirm performance standards all over the world. The carefully designed interfaces to VoIP, mobile, satellite and wireline networks repeatably obtain the best possible results.

The MultiDSLA system has brought multiple SIP, H.323, ISDN, and DSLA endpoints together to create a powerful, scalable, voice network test environment for the determination of Quality of Experience.

We are proud of our reputation for product quality, price/performance ratio and responsiveness to the needs of our customers. Engineering design, production and service quality are backed by a management system that is certified to ISO 9001:2008. We continuously improve our products and software, finding new ways to help our customers make accurate measurements. Often, the improvement is driven by a customer request for a particular functionality which is then incorporated in the product.

Our commitment to innovation extends to our participation in the ITU, contributing to advances in performance analysis techniques for the whole telecommunications community.

We are based in South West London. Over 85% of our sales are outside the UK, including all the major network operators and equipment developers around the world. We have sales partners in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa. Our products are testing tomorrow’s technology and today’s networks.
